1.5 " museum quality stretcher frame
All prints are sprayed with a protective gel coating
We use the finest quality stretcher bars available, manufactured by Best. The Best stretcher bars are designed by artists and made from kiln-dried pine. The bars are selected from the finest raw material and must be free of knots and completely straight. We install wedges so the frames can be adjusted if humidity shifts affect the canvas tightness. Also, in keeping with the framing industry best practices, we do not cover the back of the print. This allows the canvas to breathe and provides easy access to the adjustment wedges. We install the Picture Perfect “simply aim and hang picture hanger system” to insure this will be the easiest print to hang.
Gallery Wraps stretch the image around the outside of a 1 ½ inch thick frame. We do not recommend a solid colored border for the wrapping edge; the stretching process may cause misalignment.
